I think the BPM must be higher.
That's an easy fix! Just increase the pitch on your favorite DJ application and voila! Seriously though, the BPM is 130. I always edit in 130 ![]()
Anyway. It's been a week since my preview of the edit of Zombie Nation's 'Tight' but it's finished!

It's a personal take on the 2manydjs edit so let me know what you think.
enjoy.

The track I'm about to share is an edit I wanted to do for quite some time but never had the right sources for. Thanks to Lynxx, one of our forum members, I could very closely recreate this little gem:

Has anyone made a Dj Friendly edit of "Sparwl II" the radio version without zane lowes voice ? The quality is pretty good to play out like. If no one has made one I'm gonna make one myself.

their vangelis and fame edits!
there's actually a recording of the fame edit on youtube, not quite sure how they got it though. probably from a mix though, since i can hear the breathing intro from tour de france. but it's pretty good quality.

Isn't that just a faster pitched up version of the original? Unless you're not referring to 'Nightcall' and talking about a completely different track?

Hello HijackFB. Can you tell us a little bit how you make these remixes?
I think it' interesting to find out!! Because you start from the whole song, do you? I guess you don't have access to all the different "tracks" of the song?

LOOOOOL Not anymore! haha
This acid edit was my first ever Ableton production so from now on I'll be using that (but on some occasions I may be using Virtual DJ). Totally going pro ![]()
Anyway, to answer your question stineldo, it depends on how the edit is constructed. I pay attention to the source material of the original edit, how it was made and then using the best of my abilities, recreate the edit itself. The only time 'tracks' get involve in the making of the edit is if there is more then another sample in the edit especially in some of the mashup related ones.
Also the difference with this edit, aside that it was made in Ableton and my other ones were made in MAGIX, is that I at least tried to put my twist on the edit and hopefully be able to do that with future edits too ![]()
